My 32 3rd grade students are the best kids ever! They love learning and are so curious about their environment! I have a significant amount of students who love history and science, and are constantly bringing in their own pictures, drawings, and writings from home describing butterflies they've discovered, information about polar bears' diverse living habitats, or even why the earth has wind. These young students come from diverse backgrounds and thus bring an immense sense of diversity to the classroom. They love sharing their interests with their peers and working on group activities. These kids are so talented and so smart, and I strive every day to reinforce the fact that they are kind, smart, and important, and that they have a genuine capability to change the world, and they don't have to wait until they "grow up" to do something big!
