With the purchase of this document camera I anticipate many great things happening. Unfortunately, due to COVID high school students can not get into elementary school classrooms to observe, participate, teach, and help. Also, due to COVID my school does not have a plan to teach the sciences. Currently, we are instructed to teach only social studies. I have a group of Computer Science high school students who have come up with a plan to bring computer science lessons (specifically on coding) to my 2nd grade students. The problem is that many of the lessons that they will teach need to be explained and taught beforehand. This is where the document camera will come into play. Through the use of the camera, my 2nd graders will see exactly what the high school students present!
