My 18 students are loving, energetic students. I want them to begin their education journey with a positive experience. Technology and hands on learning is a growing part of learning in the classroom. It is important for them to be exposed to engaging, hands on,differentiated, technology based learning to develop a positive educational foundation. Unfortunately, they have the odds stacked against them. They are growing up in poverty in a neighborhood facing situations many adults will never encounter. 100% of the students at my school receive free or reduced priced lunch. They have to deal with hardship after hardship inside and outside of school yet, they are some of the most resilient and passionate kids you will ever meet.
