My 200+ students are creative, generous, energetic, and diverse team players who work hard every day. They willingly collaborate and take on challenges. Our Theatre program includes students from Special Ed, AP, and CP programs and everything in between. Many students are looking for a place where they can be themselves and be expressive. In Theatre class, they all find a home where they are accepted. They work every day to behave with honor and respect, and they also donate their time and talents to their school and community. Our school is the oldest in our community and has been a model of academic and extracurricular excellence for over 100 years. Our 3,000 student population is extremely diverse. We have students of all nationalities, but our three largest subgroups are Latino (58%), White (23%), and African American (14%). Many of our students are living in poverty, and 57% are classified as socioeconomically disadvantaged. Over 20% of our students are English Language Learners.
