Since I have taught some of these students previously, I know I will have a diverse group of second graders who are fun loving, imaginative, motivated, and who have a love for learning. My students are hard workers! Having this quiet space (rug) to work independently, with a partner, or in a small group will help students to interact with others from different backgrounds, cultures and experiences which helps to build community in our classroom.

About my class
