The fraction and percent tiles will bring to life the challenging concept of mathematical operations with fractions and percentages. Many of my students cannot visualize the concept of fractional pieces of a whole and how to manipulate between the different fractional pieces. With these manipulatives many of my students will be able to visually see how to create common denominators in order to add and subtract fractions. Creating hands on experiences for my math students is the key to success in the classroom! These fraction and percent tiles will open doors of understanding for many of my students now and in the future.
