Our preschool classroom works on developing social emotional and fine motor skills. On a daily basis we serve breakfast upon arrival. We practice eating family-style meals emphasizing on building independence. All students are encouraged to serve themselves as well as socializing with their peers while eating a healthy breakfast. Having these tables will allow my students to interact with each other, practice independence feeding and serving themselves while improving their fine motor skills. In addition seating arrangement will be provided during literacy/math and small group activities. The design and size of the tables will be age appropriate for their posture and ability to work independently.
