Please help extraordinary arts education in an ordinary school. I believe the arts are the key to opening the extraordinary in kids. Help us to feed imagination, foster creativity, and cultivate a love of learning in kids who never thought such things were possible! With emphasis on systematized learning and "standards" students are tuning out in record numbers. The arts opens a new way of experiencing the world and helps to create a new identity for students in a very powerful way. Some kids have shared that the arts have been a "life saver" for them. Sadly, the arts are undervalued and not at all funded at our school. Help us create terrific arts training for great kids at a public school.
