My students love looking at Non-Fiction materials. I pulled my Non-Fiction books out of my library for a project and I constantly had questions of "Where is the book about....?" They love learning and reading new material. The students love to be challenged and when they do now know something they love to look it up books or on the computer. We are a school that has more than half of the students receiving free or reduced lunch. We are close to being a title I school without the extra help. Some parents are on their own when it comes to paying the bills and raising their child(ren). It is hard for them to afford books or material to use at home and in the classroom. I hope to inspire a love of reading in all of my students.
