My students range from first graders to fifth graders in a high poverty elementary school. I teach small reading groups throughout these grades and make a difference in 100 students a day. Teaching a variety of grade levels means a variety of abilities, needs, and concerns. Even though my students have many needs, they come to school ready to learn each and every day.
