Our school services a wide variety of students from various backgrounds and economical demographics. The majority of our students want to be successful in the work force, or attend college. With these goals in mind, they need accessibility to new technology, even though many of them don't have access to beneficial items like iPads. The iPad's multitude of educational applications is nearly limitless, and a large percentage of our students miss out on the chance to use this type of technology. We want to provide the opportunity to our students to use an iPad in our Media Center. We want to train them to use it effectively to help them with their educational endeavors in reading, writing, researching, and communication skills.
