The children who enter our fourth grade classroom are enthusiastic and eager learners. They constantly have smiles on their faces and freely use kind words and compliments towards their peers. They strive to be the best learners that they can be! They are committed to finishing what they've started, determined to showcase their best work, and are not afraid to take learning risks. Our entire staff, our parents, and our community members cooperatively work together in order to see our children succeed. The school where I teach is low income and in much need of these resources. My students are both visual and auditory learners. Many of the students use art and/or drawings as a way to communicate their thoughts and feelings. I also have several English Language Learners who particularly enjoy listening to me when I read aloud. Everyday I tell my students that they make my day...because they do!
