My first-grade students need more options to enjoy flexible seating! It is more developmentally appropriate for them to sit in seats and stools that allow them wiggle room than to sit in desks in straight quiet rows. Allowing students to choose where they sit and how while working is also providing valuable choice and autonomy within my class. Changing the seating options in my classroom will increase the student's enjoyment of time spent in my class. It will also increase their productivity and time spent on task. Please consider donating to help these students have all the learning materials to fit their diverse needs.
