Students will use reliable headphones to access online learning programs. Because students are on different levels of learning, they will not all be on the same level at the same time. Therefore, they may become distracted when hearing other students' computers in the classroom. In addition to the distractions caused by sounds coming from other computers, there may also be conversations going on in the classroom where teachers are engaged in small groups or one on one sessions with other students. If my students have their own individual headphones, this will limit the number of audible distractions in the classroom as students will be able to block out most sound interference.
