My students are adolescents who have been participating in a Montessori education for 8-9 years. In their early years, they worked on the floor with materials. Now that they are preparing for high school, they are working in a more traditional style at desks and tables/chairs. This has proved to be a hard transition for the more active kiddos. My school is also located in an urban setting serving a very diverse population. It is always my goal to best serve each of these students.
