Students at our school are described as the "hardest working students" as they have a great amount of perseverance despite facing challenges in their lives. Many of my students come from low-income families and trauma situations that make learning and social interactions difficult. In light of the challenges that they face, they do not allow that to stop them from coming to school ready to learn and explore new knowledge!
