I have a class of excited, motivated 2nd graders. There are general education students, special education students, and English language learners. Our quilt of family ancestry showed ancestors from every continent except Antarctica. We are a true United Nations of children! Our days are filled with all the core subjects using research, collaboration, and projects to share new learning. They never cease to amaze me with the questions and responses they share with me and our class. Our school is K-5 and has almost 1000 students. We are not a wealthy community and depend on the generous donation of businesses and families for many classroom needs.

About my class
