My twenty-three students are 6-7 year old boys and girls. They are brand new second graders from many different backgrounds. Their skill levels vary from high to low. A few of the children pay attention fairly well. Several students have difficulties paying attention. Space is an issue because students are still learning to respect each others' space. The school is in a low income neighborhood.
