Our school is filled with wonderful diversity and great personality. My students attend school on the side of town where many are labeled "at risk" for necessary reasons. Although many of my students begin the year at lower learning levels, they grow and have achieved so much in just the seven years we have been running! Our school may be newer, but we have grown into a family in those short years. We help provide the structure that is missing and needed in many of our student's lives. We want them to remember what being a "kid" is about, even when many of them are forced to grow up because of situations at home. We want to help give them the experiences and learning environment that continues their success. We want them to believe in themselves!
