My students are beginning their school experience from home this Fall. They will be doing most activities on Seesaw. Seesaw is an awesome digital portfolio learning platform. Students can demonstrate their learning and complete activities using drawing, camera, video and voice recording tools. The three iPads I am requesting will be lent out to families who do not have access to touch screen devices at home. Since my students are very young, touch screen devices make the most sense. iPads will give my students more opportunities for independence over their learning. They will able to access the lessons I will provide and show me how they are learning through a variety of tools. This will allow ALL children access. Once the shelter in place has ended, we will continue to use the iPads in class. We will continue to use Seesaw to document our learning and share it with families We will have greater access to digital learning apps during class. We will continue to lend out the iPads for homework assignments which will provide students with more opportunities to learn.
