We believe that learning at a 4 year old level begins with play. Our program is a mix of play based learning and teacher-planned play. Play based learning is child-led and open ended play surrounding our classroom themes. Through this, children practice social skills, build language, use their imagination, and increase numeracy and literacy skills. Teacher planned centers are a more structured, organized part of the day where teachers focus on differentiating the planned activities in order to grow skills such as: literacy, numeracy, fine motor, and social emotional skills. Students thrive through this model in our 4K classroom!
