We are a small school located in California. The students in this class are creative, energetic , loving and enthusiastic learners. The students are ages 5 and 6, and in a general education kindergarten class. We often have students mainstreamed into my class. Our school is filled with many diverse learners. We have high and low socio economic students, many English Language Learners, as well as GATE students. Our school is a one to one laptop school, but most of the technology is geared toward upper grade. We are working towards being a school that uses flexible seating, but the seating and tables are so expensive. I want my students to learn and be active participants in my class and I am really excited to incorporate flexible seating in my class for the 2017-2018 school year. We implemented art journals in my class last year and it was awesome watching my creative kids shine when using their art journals.
