I have students from very diverse backgrounds. We have many different experiences with many different languages spoken at home. One of the many things my students have in common is a love of learning through technology. They know all of the latest devices and can even name the latest software and operating systems. Because of the budget problems, our school is constantly playing catch up when it comes to technology. We get 45 minutes in the computer lab once a week. We rarely get to use technology at all and almost never in the classroom. My class would be really excited about opportunities to use iPads in the classroom to enhance learning.
