Our school is one of the top three highest performing schools in the county. We excel in academics, the arts, and connecting with our community. We do all this without the extra funding that many of our other schools receive. My school, and class, have always gone above and beyond in all areas and showed a level of excellence with very little supplies, money, or space. Because of the supportive parents, hard-working students, and dedicated teachers, we have earned and continue to have an A+ reputation in the community. The fifth grade students in my class are constantly on the search for knowledge, working hard, and supporting each other. We work as a team and want everyone to succeed. In addition, my students are kind and helpful to others. They do many small group projects as well as independent projects. We incorporate technology into our lessons several times a week as well. I know my students are the future leaders and designers of great things, and I want to help them get there.
