Communication Station is my vision and this is just the beginning; creating a place where students new to the English language can come and feel safe to try out their new language with a student who would also benefit from learning their own native language! These teaching tubs and games will help us kick off our language lab, exposing our students to alphabet work and introductory vocabulary development while building communication skills, empathy, and relationships. EVERY student at our school will have the opportunity to not only grow in their language development but grow as communicators and collaborators. Students and their partners will visit the learning the lab throughout the week to play games, chat, listen to stories, and just explore the wonderful world beyond their own language!
