Alaska is cold! And our students seek as many opportunities to get active and involved as they can. The community we live in is quite centered on the arts as well as outdoor sports. Our student musicians are a very committed group of people, and because of that we have a great music program going strong. But, funding is pulling back. A jazz band was cut from our class list. In response, the students committed to showing up an extra hour and a half early to school every day to keep the program going strong!

About my class
