My Title I school has decided to become a STEM Academy (science, technology, engineering, math). We are so excited to introduce and expose our first grade students in California to these four curricular areas in hopes we will help produce future college and career ready members of our global society. I want to get my students excited and raring to go to learn about the wonderful world of STEM. We have created an amazing curriculum aligned with the new common core state standards, which will open student's eyes to a whole new world of learning, experimenting, creating, building, and problem solving. Let the experiments begin!

About my class
