My students have access to a class set of laptops that were provided by the school district. However, our district did not provide the badly needed headphones for the students. My students take an online test and utilize the practice programs for the test. This program reads sections of the lesson to the students. Unfortunately, I do not have headphones for them to listen with. Therefore, I have a classroom full of students listening to their computers with the volume turned on low. This means they are straining their ears to hear and understand instructions. It is crucial that my students be able to listen to the assignments using headphones. It will also benefit those students who have hearing issues.
