Kindergarten is a magical place where so many of our "firsts" begin. Our first school, our first teacher, our first best friend. Although kindergarten is so different than it was just a few years ago, we need to hold on to the magic that keeps kindergarten special. Discovery, play, imagination, and exploration are essential to our young learners' lives and brain development. I love seeing the power in my students' eyes the first time they read a book on their own or the first time they see their sand volcano erupt baking soda all over the playground. I am honored to give my students their first super power - LEARNING!
