Our students are learners from diverse backgrounds who are building their academic confidence every day. We have students from every socioeconomic class, but the majority of students are on free or reduced price lunch. Our students represent many cultures and countries, which helps give our other students rich background information about the places we study in social studies class. We have students who have very strong English skills and those who are just learning English. We have students who, despite their socioeconomic and language challenges, work hard every day to be the best students they can be. We truly have diversity at our school, and this presents us with so many opportunities to learn about acceptance and community.
