A little bit about me...Teaching special education is my passion, regardless of the many reforms in education today. I teach children the value of their education as it relates to the real world. I am not one to teach to the test. I am one to teach from the heart. I have been teaching for 15+ years and still love what I do. I teach in a fourth grade inclusion classroom. I teach in a public school in the community I grew up in. Many of my children come from families that have to work 2 or more jobs so finding the time to support homework often cannot be priority in the home. Our school has over a 60% poverty rate. My class has 24 children.
