I teach at a small urban public elementary school in New York State, where I stay with the same group of students for third and fourth grade. I teach all academic subjects to an extremely diverse group of students, in terms of ethnic background, socioeconomic status, native language, and special education needs. All of my kids are motivated and love learning, and I want to give them every opportunity to deepen their understanding and their analytical thinking.
