These materials and supplies will help our science students create an outdoor space that has been neglected during the COVID-19 pandemic. We are using our new beginning to build a community, inspire student ownership, and provide outdoor learning experiences. Our project will include student contribution of ideas, research, and help create a lasting space with signage. Our space will value wildlife, train for a blue economy, and foster an appreciation for the local environment. In order to make this happen, we need garden supplies, seating, and support. Our project is anchored in sustainability, blue economy, citizen science, and climate change.
