If funded, my project will help students will learn not only the rules of basketball and volleyball: they will also learn life skills! Life skills such as learning to win in a humble fashion and lose in a gracious manner. They will gain self-esteem from a pat on the back or shaking an opponents hand. They will learn patience as they wait turns to play. Camaraderie is learned as well as they gain a sense of belonging. They will also learn to work together as a team and think of others while playing a game. All these skills are essential for a productive life.

About my class
