My students are Kindergarteners who attend a Title 1 school in Oklahoma. They are ready to learn to read. They love books and enjoy hearing stories and having someone read to them. Not all of my students have parents who read to them at home, or even have books at home. For many of them my classroom is the only place that they have access to books.
