This is my 4th year with amazing 5th graders at Dana and I have loved every single one of my students. They are amazing kids and try so hard to do their best. We work on a lot of project based learning activities and these projects really let all types of students shine. As a 5th grade teacher, I work really hard to get my students to shift to a self motivated growth mindset. We work hard all year on making good choices, choosing how to solve problems and becoming independent but also collaborative students. Dana is an awesome school. The staff is very collaborative and we all ask each other for help. We also work together to make sure all of the students at our school are happy and successful.
