Many of my students come to school every day having lived through things young children should never have to experience. They crave structure and thoughtful, engaging lessons to stimulate their minds. My students are independent and strong, overcoming many obstacles every day of their lives. Despite these challenges, they love school and learning! They are enthusiastic and inspirational young people. Technology is an integral part of children's lives these days, making it all the more important to integrate this into their educational experiences! Many school districts are able to fund these technology initiatives with minimal effort. With your help, we can level the playing field and provide a digital camera for my 30 first graders!
