Despite the challenges and obstacles my students face, they are a vibrant and energetic group! My students come from families that face major economic challenges and even deal with emotional and physical hardships. Most of my students do not have access to computers or other forms of technology outside of the classroom. They are eager to come to school and learn each day. The classroom is a place to learn and explore in ways that are not available to them beyond the school gates.
