I have a group of seven year old students ready to absorb any and all learning opportunities. I currently teach 20 second graders. These students live in a high need community, 99% poverty level. They live in a community of projects surrounded by high levels of violence, crime and drug abuse. Most of these students have witnessed more atrocities than many people living in a different population.
