The students look for comfortable and cozy places to read. The bench, seat cushions, and rug will offer them flexible seating, while they read independently, with partners, or in groups. The lamp and lights will offer the students more light to read by. The book shelf and bench will keep the books organized and neat. The reading nook will be the center of our language arts world. We will hold daily read alouds, book discussions, lessons, and activities in the comforts of the new, refreshed reading area. The students will develop a love for reading. They will become avid readers here.
