My students are colorful 2nd graders who are very tenacious! They attend a magnet school and are very intelligent. They absolutely love school. However, funds are very limited and these children come from impoverished families the city's low income housing areas. The books in which I am asking for would mean so much to them. Outside of school they hardly ever have access to quality books. Their families can barely afford the necessities of life let alone books. I have built the library with my own funds, however, I alone can't supply enough educational materials for a class size of 31.
