I am so excited to be in my 5th year of teaching! After spending my first two years in Mississippi teaching kindergarten, I now teach 1st grade back home in North Carolina. Though I'm in a wonderful space with some awesome support and resources, most of my children come from low-income backgrounds and still do not have access to the all of the resources or help outside the classroom needed to further their academic endeavors. Help support me as I venture on a mission to provide my little ones with a pathway of expanded opportunity and help them visualize their value and worth as a student and citizen on this planet! Let's make learning fun for them and allow them to see what an awesome place school can be. :)
