I've been teaching in this city for 9 years and am switching grades. Times are tough in our city and district for the past several years. Art, music even PE are being cut drastically despite the fact that these are areas of need for children. My school is a low income, Title 1 School with over half of our students receiving free/reduced lunch. There are several items I would love my classroom to have that I cannot afford. My students and I have been grateful for everything that they have received!
