Hi and thank you for visiting my classroom page. I have been teaching English and language arts at Ashford School since March 2002. My primary role has always been English/language arts, but I've also taught social studies, technology and even hosted a very cool independent study class. I embrace using technology in the classroom and am always excited to find ways to bring this cool tool into our classroom. From webquests, to portfolios, to asynchronous learning using a website, I encourage children to take charge of their own learning as often as possible. To me, education is a treasure chest-- when it's opened, who knows what riches can be found!
