My students will benefit from using this kidney-shaped table to collaborate with one another as well as small group instruction. The kidney table can also be used as a workstation while supporting inquiry-based hands-on and project-based learning, and providing a community setting enabling students to work closely with each other. The kidney shaped table is the perfect shape, providing appropriate design for meaningful academic and social-emotional conversations for both teacher to student and students to students. Students will have intentional learning spaces as well as an opportunity to feel part of a group in a meaningful way. As a teacher, it is a more productive and intimate way to observe and assist each student's individual needs.
