I want to use the Scholastic Magazine 'DynaMath' during my math stations to show students how math is used in the real world. These magazines do an amazing job using current events and real situations, to show real-world math. Each magazine issue has engaging articles about current events in our world. Each article is paired with different types of math problems. Every issue also comes with a teacher copy that gives different activities and ideas to further engage the students; as well as a sheet to send home to parents. Each activity has ideas and suggestions for the teacher to level the work so that every student can find success.
