I believe that my students' ability to obtain clear desk shields will enable them to focus on learning vs. worrying about getting sick. During a recent Health lesson, we discussed many ways to stay well. I was at a loss when one of my kiddos asked if is there anything else we can do (in the classroom) to stay safe from germs- including COVID-19. It dawned on me that we could use clear desk shields but I cannot afford to provide one for each student in the classroom.
