I have had the pleasure of working as a classroom teacher at a Science and Technology Magnet School for the past 21 years. This is my home and it is where am dedicated to making a difference by supporting the teachers, families and students that I know and love. Our Magnet School community consists of students and families from throughout the city but the majority of families come from the downtown neighborhood. The familiar building facility, teachers and students provide a comfort zone for our students where their sense of school/community can flourish. Our very diverse student population comes with a wide range of academic, social-emotional and economic needs that often impact the ability to maximize learning.
