My fourth graders enjoy a wide variety of reading materials and I have put forth great effort in creating an ever-expanding classroom library to challenge and engage their imaginations and natural curiosity. When we read to build stamina, my students can sit in one spot and read for 30 minutes or more! They like to keep several items handy so they can keep reading even after finishing one magazine or book.
