My high school is a small rural school in north eastern Louisiana. Our school is comprised of the three towns in our Parish, and it is a place where we can put our differences aside and come together to learn. We have 250 students in grades 7-12, and I am the high school English teacher. My students are curious and smart. They are constantly growing and developing their identities and place in their community.
